Jun 13, 2011 In this video, Mahalo's audio expert Joey Biagas demonstrates how to edit the sustain on your MIDI audio regions. MIDI Sustain-Use the sustain feature to hold out MIDI notes for the same. Oct 11, 2017 General MIDI defines some portion of 128 CC#s 0 CC#1 is Modulation, CC#7 is Volume, CC#10 is Pan, CC#64 is Sustain Pedal, etc. Less than half of the 128 numbers are defined IIRC. The others were left undefined so manufacturers could make devices do other things for those numbers. But not all software follows the General MIDI standard. Sep 22, 2010 I'm working on this song and am using a keyboard hooked up via USB. I have a sustain pedal also plugged into my keyboard. When using it and recording, the sustain holds while recording. However, during playback sometimes, and ALWAYS when I edit that specific track line, I lose the sustain, and it plays back as if I hadn't used a pedal at all.

Feb 01, 2018 Check out this video if you are interested in learning the basics of Omnisphere's workflow. In this video Kevin Melton talks about the layout of Omnisphere and some tips for getting started with. Studio One v3 + Omnisphere 2. Yeah def dealing with around 2000 ms of GUI lag with omni 2 in pretty much any daw I open it up in. Its on omnis side.
| Hi everybody! Does anybody else have issues with Omnisphere 2 in terms of loading times of the GUI? In particular, if you load up a project - and open a track with Omni2 on it, its a delay of about 30 seconds until the GUI shows up. (S1 is not reactive in that time, too..) Made the same test with Bitwig Studio, and there is only a delay about 5 seconds until the GUI shows up. Anyone else can test this, or is it already a known issue? (IMPORTANT: has to be a big project (around 30+ tracks with different VSTs loaded.etc.) in a fresh project, only loading one instance of Omnisphere is also fast ~about 5 seconds) | monoPLAN | Deep House Producer | http://www.monoplan-music.com Gear: Win 10 Pro 64-bit, i7 6700k, 16 Gig DDR4 RAM, 28' 4K monitor, Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, Studio One 3.2.2 Pro |
| Yes, it's been slower to load for me also. I got both Omni2 and S1 3 at about the same time. Always assumed it was the new Omni that was slow. Everything else loads at the same speed. S1 3 definately has worse CPU performance than V2 for me. |
Omnisphere 2.6 includes a stunning new “Hardware Library” with over 1,600 new patches created by Eric Persing and the renowned Spectrasonics Sound Development team. Each hardware profile has a corresponding set of sounds in the Hardware Library which were specially designed using that hardware synth as an Omnisphere controller.
Nov 17, 2017 Omnisphere 2 or no? I'm a guitar player, however, I like to add strong exciting synth leads here and there in my songs.a 70's kinda thing. I do not like. Getting Started with Omnisphere 2. Omnisphere 2 is a virtual instrument that is used for both studio and live performance applications. After it is registered and installed, you can either launch the desktop app or load it as a virtual instrument track inside your DAW. All of the functions work the same as a plug-in and in standalone mode. May 22, 2016 13. Open your DAW of choice, and scan for plugins (this is usually automatic). Open an instance of Omnisphere from within your DAW. Now, you must copy the “Challenge Code” (which shows upon opening Omnisphere), and paste it into the keygen on your Windows PC. DO NOT close your DAW or Omnisphere during this process.

| Omni 2.1 released this morning. Improvements include fixing the slow load/boot time for Omni 2. So, apparently it was Omni, not Studio One. Haven't tried it out yet, just woke up. |

There is a definate problem between Waves and Intel on my system, and I am wondering if Intel may be causing an issue on your system? So most likely you have Intel integrated on the mobo. Intel makes a crappy driver. I would look for an update to that. Check with your pc manufacturer website, as sometimes windows incorrectly reports the installed driver to be the most current.
